Meridian Associates’ innovative relationship with the City of Chelsea dates back to 2018, when MAI provided city-wide LiDAR and GIS services in support of the transformational sewer and storm water system separation effort.

It was a pleasure to be part of the Nexamp team on a new 5MW Community Solar project. Meridian provided the site design, surveying, local and state-level permitting, and construction-phase monitoring. The previously wooded site has been converted into a meadow habitat.

The property owners (cutting the ribbon in the photo below) are contracting with local farmers to provide sheep to keep the meadow in check periodically. The project will provide power for several hundred homes. Congrats to all involved!

Meridian's Tim Grant and Chris Ryan were pleased to meet with students and future engineers at last week's Spring Internship & Career Fair at Merrimack College. We look forward to demonstrating aerial LiDAR for students in some of the engineering classes on campus on April 3rd.

Students will get to see the pre-flight planning, field setup and operations, and ultimately the processed point cloud and photogrammetry captured during the flight.

At the event, we'll share a brief company overview, the survey technologies we use, and showcase some recent projects. We hope to see you there!
