A note for the restaurants, shops, offices, and property managers out there: June is the friendliest month on the calendar to take care of plumbing!

July and August bring more foot traffic, more outdoor events, more staff out on vacation, and a lot less patience for a restroom that's out of order or a prep sink that won't drain.

Here’s a friendly reminder that warm weather doesn't change how much you rely on your water heater! The showers after the beach, the extra loads of laundry, the dishwashers running at the shop or restaurant; none of it pauses for the season.

With that in mind, here are a few things worth paying attention to:

▪ Hot water that runs out faster than it used to
▪ Rusty or discolored water at the tap
▪ Rumbling, popping, or banging from the tank
▪ Any moisture or rust around the base
