One of our top before & after deck projects was completed yesterday in Bexley, OH.

While prep work was plentiful, so was the sunshine and heat! But we pushed through—even ripping out a few old deck boards and replacing them. And some of the stairway framing was beefed up for safety.

So grateful for how this turned out. The solid stain color gives it uniformity with little maintenance over time.

This trellis in north Bexley was scrubbed clean and painted with 2 coats of the same color. We also are painting banisters and some new trimwork.

After wire brushing and sanding, a coat of Stop Rust and a coat of Command was applied this week.

I built the larger bed a few years ago from cedar. This will probably be a temporary garden bed, as the plants ought to outgrow it! 🧑‍🌾
