The creek works!! Installing a dry creek for these clients to fix a drainage issue. Progress halted briefly for snow - lots of snow. And when it melted all the water followed the creek bed as planned, great success! Now onto the next steps - line the creek bed to catch all the water, hide the liner at the edges by burying them in a shallow trench (also ensures water goes down creek not under liner) then install rocks and boulders - carefully sourced to match the native material. We’ve got a crew field trip tomorrow to check out a nearby creek. Fingers crossed we’ll find some inspiration on rock placement. That way our dry creek bed will look as natural as possible!

10” x 12” - these beams are much bigger in person than on paper!! Had a local saw mill whip em up - they supply all the circle sawn rough cut Douglas fir we’ve used in these boardwalks! Usually these bad boys aren’t as beefy thick! However, we’ve got to drive the back and forth over this one fully laden, many times.
