To all of you amazing traditional quilters out there, my hat goes off to you!!!

I am not a TQ quilter. Perfect 1/4 inches and straight lines elude me knowing this…I decide to make a king size quilt for my son, after all I thought, how hard can it be? And, I’ll just wing it, do I really need a pattern???

Yes, I think I am a tad crazy. 🤪 This is the wonkiest thing I’ve ever seen and what’s even crazier is that I’m going ahead and finishing it! My wonderful son will act happy when he sees it (and when he’s shoving it to the back of his closet!)

Did I mention how incredibly difficult it is to “wing it”? I have a brand new respect for pattern makers to say the least! 😂

Sharing the art of Jayne Todd with you, the first pic is our pattern Sea Turtles, she chose the fabrics for all of these! The second (the puffins), is her own creation putting to use her wildlife photography skills and the third is our own Great Blue Heron, I think she did an amazing job!!! Thanks for sharing, Jayne!

Apologies, the landscape quilt giveaway is a tad delayed. The tensioning on my Tiara decided to go bonkers and I have to travel about 100 miles to get it serviced, I will keep you posted though, wish me luck! 🙂
