Some of the most meaningful projects aren't always the most visible.

When ZooMontana needed to improve its aging parking lot, Performance Engineering donated surveying, engineering, permitting support and design services to help make the project possible.

The improvements created a smoother, more accessible experience for families, visitors using wheelchairs and guests of all ages while also improving drainage and reducing long-term maintenance.

Because engineering isn't just about infrastructure. It's about making our communities more welcoming, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

From balancing significant site elevation changes to coordinating permitting with multiple agencies and supporting FEMA floodplain work, our team helped keep a complex project moving forward while creating a site built for long-term functionality.

As a Civil Engineer, Abby has been part of the Performance Engineering team for one year. Originally from Manhattan, Kansas, she earned her degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

One of Abby's favorite parts of the job is the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and learn something new every day.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, fishing and traveling. We're grateful to have Abby on the team.
