September 11, 2001. A day we will never forget.
A day that brought our nation to its knees and left a scar that will forever be a part of our history. So many lives were lost, so many families changed forever, and so many heroes stepped forward without knowing what the day would ask of them.
Yet, in the midst of unimaginable tragedy, we also saw something powerful: people coming together. Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers stood beside strangers. Communities rallied around one another. For a moment, the things that divided us seemed so small compared to the things that united us.
9/11 changed our country forever in ways that are difficult to put into words. We remember the innocent lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who never got to say goodbye, and the men and women in our military whose lives and whose families’ lives were forever changed by what followed.
Today, we remember not only the tragedy, but the courage, sacrifice, strength, and compassion that came from it.
May we never forget the lives we lost. May we never forget the heroes who answered the call. And may we never forget the reminder that, when we stand together, we are stronger.
Community is everything. 🇺🇸
