The apprenticeship program here at Local 325 is a New York State five-year program. It includes on-the-job training, as well as hours of classroom/lab instruction in all aspects of the electrical trade. Upgraded courses in new codes and technologies are constantly being incorporated into the classrooms. Our members become well trained in all aspects of the electrical construction industry, which make them very desirable as employees.

Our Story

The IBEW provides an excellent career choice for anyone interested in working in the trades. The apprenticeship program here at Local 325, in Binghamton NY, is a five-year program. It includes paid on-the-job training, as well as hours of classroom/lab instruction, teaching and training in all aspects of the electrical trade. Upgraded courses in new codes and technologies are constantly being incorporated into the classrooms. Our members become well trained in all aspects of the electrical construction industry, which make them very desirable as employees. We cover the following areas in New York State:

Broome: Entire County- All Townships

Chenango: Townships of Afton, Bainbridge, Coventry, German, Greene, Guilford, Lincklaen, McDonough, North Norwich, Norwich, Ostelic, Oxford, Pharslia, Pitcher, Plymouth, Preston, Smithville, and Smyrna.
