The purpose of the JSTA -Community Impact Competition is to provide assistance to non-profit organizations that are working hard to make an impact in the African-American comm
unity. We seek to provide much needed financial support, mentoring and business resources to a deserving Non-Profit organization. Each winner of the competition will be awarded $1000 to help fund new or existing programs. The winner will also become a part of a network of business professionals who will offer mentoring and access to valuable business resources. The Jimmy Sims Trailblazer Award
The primary purpose of this award is to honor the hard work and dedication of minority/black owned business leaders. These leaders often fade in the background and never truly get the gratitude and recognition they deserve. The selection committee will evaluate a one to two page essay submitted by someone that has been positively impacted by this individual.
