Safety. Reliability. Quality.

These three things are the foundation of everything we do.

For each job we take on, the EGS team comes together to ensure that when our crews leave, they are confident that the solutions they have made are reliable and will keep communities connected for many years to come.

By prioritizing safe practices and quality work, EGS works to strengthen infrastructure that will make a lasting impact to all that we serve.

When storms hit, our crews step up.

From our transmission crews assisting with Hurricane Isaias restoration on Georgia Power’s system to our teams continuing GRID Resiliency projects for Entergy in New Orleans, our people are working tirelessly to keep communities connected. Across Alabama, crews are also spread throughout the state, working hand in hand with our customers to restore service and get the job done.

We are proud of our crews who continue to show up, work safely, and serve the communities that depend on us. No matter the conditions, our commitment remains the same: working together to keep people connected, one line at a time. Entergy Georgia Power Alabama Power

Go Dawgs or Roll Tide?
While our crews were getting ready for Hurricane Isaias, we decided to have a little friendly competition here at EGS!
We asked some members of one of our transmission crews their score predictions for the matchup on Saturday. Check out their picks and stay tuned to see who our winner is.
Closest score gets a $150 gift card and bragging rights!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and EGS is thinking pink. 🩷

This month, Breast Cancer Awareness hats and stickers can be found across our crews as we honor those who have been impacted by this disease.

Join us as we spread awareness, show our support, and stand together in the ongoing fight to end breast cancer. From survivors and fighters to families and loved ones, we're showing what it means to be EGS Strong.

The foundation of reliable power starts underground.

Our underground crews play an essential role in building, maintaining, and strengthening the infrastructure that delivers reliable power to those we serve. From installing new systems to supporting critical upgrades, their work helps to create the strong foundation our communities depend on.

With an ongoing commitment to quality work and craftmanship, they help to build stronger systems today while preparing for the needs of tomorrow. We are proud of the impact they make with every foot of cable installed and every connection completed.

Distribution overhead work requires more than technical skill. It requires trust, communication, and a crew that's committed to doing the job right.

Jonathan Langston, Sam Wade, and Zane Watwood take us behind the scenes of an EGS distribution overhead crew, offering a firsthand look at the teamwork, dedication, and safety culture that define our work.

From the moment the crew arrives on site, communication and accountability are key. Every decision, every task, and every interaction is rooted in a commitment to protecting one another while delivering quality results.

It's this combination of teamwork, professionalism, and pride in a job well done that allows our crews to make a difference every day.
Built on teamwork. Driven by safety. Powered by people.
