Happy Birthday Sally Ride! 🎉

As proud suppliers to NASA, 🔹 TEAM ESSNOVA 🔹 would like to acknowledge that today would have been Sally Ride's 71st birthday. 🎈

👩🏼‍🚀 Sally Kristen Ride (May 26, 1951 – July 23, 2012) was an American astronaut and physicist.

Ms. Ride joined NASA 🚀 in 1978, and in 1983 became the first American woman in space.

She was the youngest American astronaut to have traveled to space, 🌌 having done so at the age of 32.

After flying two missions on the Space Shuttle Challenger, 🛬 Ride left NASA in 1987 to work at Stanford.

Sally passed from Pancreatic Cancer in 2012, having given so much to NASA, the study of astrophysics, and the American in her 61 years.

Thank you, Ms. Ride, for your contribution to NASA and the United States.

May 24th is a very cool day in technology history! 📺

On May 24, 1961, Wes Clark began working on the Laboratory Instrument Computer (LINC), at MIT's Lincoln Laboratory.

It was one of the earliest examples of a "user-friendly machine that you could communicate with while it operated".It’s credited with setting the standard as the forerunner of the personal computer. 🖥️

The LINC (Laboratory INstrument Computer) is a 12-bit, 2048-word transistorized computer.

Architecture: The LINC (Laboratory INstrument Computer) had 2048 12-bit words of memory in two sections.

Only the first 1024 words were usable for program ex*****on. The second section of memory could only be used for data.

The LINC sold for more than 💰$40,000 at the time.

The Fast 50 Asian American Businesses Awards program puts a spotlight on the 50 fastest-growing Asian American-owned businesses nationwide.

Under Sri’s leadership, Essnova has achieved double-digit over the past two years.

The award presentation will be at the USPAACC annual conference next week, May 23-27, 2022, in Washington, DC.

The award is especially significant given this growth occurred during a global pandemic.
