A Neptune Elevator Lift is a great option for customers with two or more jet skis. This setup with three catwalks provides complete access around both skis and makes routine maintenance extremely easy. Launching and docking the watercraft is also a breeze, with no outer piling needed and the perpendicular approach that elevator lifts offer. This helps you avoid navigating around piling and other vessels that may also be docked along the bulkhead or shoreline.

We are currently hiring full-time carpenters and laborers for marine construction projects. The job responsibilities include pile driving, framing and decking piers and boardwalks, bulkhead installation, and various shoreline work. The ability to work comfortably on the water is crucial, as most tasks are performed from a barge, boat, or work float. Yesterday was a tough day, but it showed us how thankful we are to work in such a great community. At around 10:45 am, in the midst of the storms, one of our excavators slid off a barge, but fortunately, the operator was able to escape safely and none of the crew was injured. We immediately started making phone calls to the relevant authorities and other contractors to assist in the recovery process. Within minutes of the accident, Joshua Ashcraft with Bay Shore Marine Construction (a competitor and friend) mobilized his barge and crew to help us, despite the storms. One of our other crews at McGinty Marine moved our other barge to the scene, and Jeff Wade with Aerial Crane mobilized a crew, a 70-ton crane, two tractor-trailers, and came into Ocean City, despite it being the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Chris Cropper with Croppers Towing arrived with their wrecker, a flatbed, and crew. Thanks to the combined knowledge, professionalism, and effort of these awesome companies and friends, we were able to retrieve a 50,000-lb. excavator from the bottom of a canal late last night. I cannot thank these guys enough for their help yesterday. I also want to thank everyone else who called me to offer assistance, including several other marine contractors. It's comforting to know that even though we are competitors, we are there for each other when needed.

Today is a bitter sweet day here at MMC, as it is our son Grady’s last day working for us before he leaves for the Navy. In less than 2 weeks, he will be heading to the Great Lakes for boot camp and we couldn’t be more proud! Since he was 12 years old, Grady has been part of McGinty Marine, whether it was cutting grass at office, out working with the crews, welding in the shop or hauling trailers and picking up material. He has always had a strong work ethic and has taken great pride in his work, which as most people know, is hard to find in a lot of young people today. Grady will be greatly missed here at work and at home but we know that this great country will be a little bit safer with him being one of the many that serve to protect it.

We are HIRING. Looking for 3-4 people with strong work ethic and the desire to grow within the company. Experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right individuals. Pay ranges between $19.00 -$25.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Duties include but not limited to… basic carpentry (framing and decking piers and docks), heavy construction, small and large equipment operation, minor landscaping, boat lift installation and service. Must be comfortable working on the water and must have a valid drivers license.
