Easy.

Buy two new mowers and don't tell anybody who's getting them. 😂

Then just sit back and watch.

Employee #1:
"I've been here the longest."

Employee #2:
"Yeah, but I produce more."

Employee #3:
"I take care of equipment better than anybody."

Employee #4:
"My mower has 3,000 hours on it."

Employee #5:
"Well, Chandler told me..."

Employee #6:
"That's funny, because Chandler told ME..."

Now you've got six grown men investigating a mower assignment like it's a federal criminal case.

🚜😂 Customer called and said the lot was “a little overgrown.”

Buddy… we didn’t even know there was a HOUSE back there 😭🌿

We pulled up and the grass was so tall the skid steer disappeared twice. Pretty sure the mosquitoes had their own ZIP code.

So we unleashed the skid steer with the brush cutter and went full jungle warfare mode 💀

🌳 Trees trying to start a forest? Gone.🌿 Brush thicker than grandma’s Thanksgiving gravy? Gone.🏠 Entire hidden house? FOUND 😂

Halfway through the job one of the crew members yelled:“YOOO THERE’S A DRIVEWAY UNDER HERE!”

By the end of the day it looked like a completely different property.

UPDATE from yesterday’s disaster movie 😂👇

The spray truck DID get fixed by the end of the day 💪
So apparently it just needed a little attention… and several hundred dollars.

Today though?
W**dwackers is running WIDE OPEN 🌱🔥

✔️ Spray crew out here committing crimes against w**ds
✔️ New front lawn going in looking like an HGTV episode
✔️ Pre-M applications going down stopping w**ds before they even think about showing up
✔️ Fertilizer crews making grass grow faster than people’s bills
✔️ Irrigation crew adding heads so these lawns quit having “dry patch personality issues”
✔️ About 40 lawns getting their beauty cut today ✂️😎

Funny how yesterday felt like the company was one broken bolt away from collapse…
and today the trucks are rolling like nothing ever happened 😂

That’s lawn care life.
One day you’re questioning every decision you’ve ever made…
the next day you’re out here making neighborhoods look expensive.

Running a lawn care company looks real glamorous on Facebook… until you live it 😅

Meanwhile… I didn’t sleep last night.

Finally said forget it and got up at 4:00 AM.Pulled into a dark shop at 4:35 like a ghost starting a shift nobody asked for.

✔️ Started confirming schedules for the crews✔️ By 6:00 AM — BOOM — employee calls out → redo the whole schedule✔️ Around 7:00 AM — office manager calls in sick (first time in over a year 😳)And let me say this… she may not “make” money, but she IS the company. Face, voice, organization… everything. Hope she gets better quick 🙏

Then the equipment started acting like it had feelings…

🚨 Mower down — busted blade spindle(Luckily had one in stock… small miracle)

🚨 Spray truck — needs a new motor and pump(Hoping to have it back up by lunch 🤞)

🚨 Fuel delivery shows up…1000 gallons… $4,000 💀Back in February? $2,500.

I used to check the fuel price… now I just brace for impact.He hands me the bill like a doctor with bad news.I’m like… “Just tell me how long I have left.” 💀

🚨 Skid steer battery decides it’s done with life(Perfect timing with a job today)

And somewhere in all of this…I forgot my lunch sitting on the counter like it’s on vacation without me 🥪😂

And it’s only 11:30 AM.

Oh—and plot twist…🚨 Spray truck update: won’t be fixed by lunch… just broke a fitting 😂(So for once… not a $2,000 problem)

So I sit down for a minute to get things back on track…and my computer decides it’s got its own plans.

“UPDATE NOW.”No “later” button. No mercy. Just vibes.So I’m just sitting there waiting on it like… guess we’re doing this now 🤦‍♂️

So yeah…A lot could go wrong today…Or right… we’ll see.

But just a reminder — behind every “perfect” business post…there’s a guy running on no sleep, fixing stuff, moving schedules around, and trying not to lose his mind before lunch 🤷‍♂️
