At this time we are planning to be out helping after 5 again if needed!
Thank you for everyone in the community out there helping in this weather! If anyone at all in the area is willing to help people before 5, feel free to send me a message, we have no shortage of people needing help!
We have one family first on our list for when we are free after 5 but they have been stranded overnight with children so if anyone can assist sooner please reach out to me so I can connect you with them!
People continue to message us looking for help and we can only help so many people so if you have a good vehicle and want to help today, drop a comment so others know they can reach you!
Let us know if you need help this evening, everyone wants to be home safe and warm tonight, I'm sure!
Self Recovery Tips**
Our $20 snow chisel was the true star of the show last night, if you have anything similar, throw it in your car along with a shovel before you go. If you have any type of loose chain around (dog chains, tow chains, anything) you can also toss those behind a tire to get yourself out of a tight spot sometimes! We got more people free by spending just a little extra time freeing up their tires or adding some chains down into the holes for traction!
I got stuck myself last night after midnight when finally heading home and thankfully I was able to free myself with just a snow chisel in less than 10 minutes! We keep water with us as well, it's important to remember to drink water in this type of weather as well and you never know if you will be stuck in your car for a couple hours or overnight. Happy to help anyone and everyone we can whether it's a ride to work or getting your vehicle out!
If you have an essential job please let us know and we can prioritize you, though everyone who reaches out to us gets any help we can give!
