On this project, we opened up the floor to investigate a noticeable bounce and discovered a makeshift beam and support system underneath. Instead of properly supporting the structure, the added framing was creating uneven weight distribution and contributing to the problem.

This is exactly why careful investigation matters. What looks like a simple floor issue can sometimes point to a much bigger structural concern hidden below the surface.
