Great project with my beautiful wife, Monica Lynn Sigmon.
The chair was a "left behind" inheritance. I saved all the original stamping from the Army. The arm rest are from some type of side board a friend picked up and thought would be cool for me to do something with. I had no clue what to do with that thing til this project came together. Pretty cool of him. Thanks Ricky!!!
Of Course, It Rolls.... Locking front casters and straight line rear. The table base was another inheritance along the way. Just some painting, and YES, added wheels. The table top I found beside a dumpster. Great trash to find!!! 3/4 ply... The "almost" lazy suzy is 1/4 ply. The cards easily slide off into your finger tips.
Sherwin Williams had a sale, 40% off all stain, so I robbed the piggy bank and the wife picked out this slate color. Great job, beautiful. I've fell in love with this color. If the kitchen cabinets had any neat grain flow to them, I'd stain them too, lol. Yeap, the wife's idea. $5 in sanding pads, staining and polyurethane, more sanding.... this table top is slick. You have to judge your toss, the cards will slide right off the other side.
What a fun project with my beautiful wife, and lu lu, my shop partner.

Cool table. 1.99 at goodwill, cut a few boards, stain, polyurethane and a little paint... now my neighbor has a nightstand that he can roll around and it's low enough to reach. He has stage 3 cancer and the chemotherapy is causing so much pain he can hardly bend to get his water at night. I pray this helps. Even put a handle for easy manuverability. If you've read this far, please keep them in ur prayers.
