At Homeco's All-Hands Meeting, we invited Nikita, a Core Safety Specialist, from 3M to talk with our Team about Respirator Protection. She explained the different types and uses of respirators, how to wear them correctly, as well as the care, cleaning, and storage of them. She shared helpful information and a reminder that tomorrow is our reward for working safely today!

We were excited to nominate Brian Bistodeau as our 2023 Q1 Best Employee in America! Since Brian started working with us in our warehouse in 2013, he’s grown his skill set right along with the growth of the company. He has a wide range of responsibilities ordering materials, PPE’s, equipment, and tools, to keep the warehouse and jobsites stocked and running. He also keeps our vehicles and equipment in good working condition to minimize downtime. With a large crew, it’s not the easiest job keeping the warehouse neat and clean, but Brian takes pride in having an organized warehouse. Congratulations Brian!! We appreciate your hard work with the Homeco Team!

As promised, I'm reporting back to announce that we took Runner Up in the Commercial Enclosure category at the SPFA National Industry Excellence Award for the spray foam work we are doing at the Fort Snelling Upper Post Flats Project! Way to go Homeco Team!

Exciting News! Homeco Insulation is a finalist for the Commercial Enclosure category for the SPFA National Industry Excellence Award for the spray foam work we are doing at the Fort Snelling Upper Post Flats Project! Great job Homeco Team!!! We'll find out on February 14th if we'll take home that award and the SPFA's People's Choice Award. Stay tuned...

We’re excited to nominate Mike Schaab as Q4’s Best Employee in America! Mike started with us way back in 2013 as an insulation installer specializing in retrofits and has expanded his skills within those 9 years being certified by the Air Barrier Association of America as a Level 3 Certified Air Barrier Installer. He’s currently managing a high-profile job rehabilitation 26 crumbling buildings at Fort Snelling. The careful consideration and workmanship he’s taken with each building is critical in keeping the historical structure in place and, because of this, he’s won Core Value Rewards. It’s incredible to think that when Mike’s not running projects for Homeco, he’s running marathons! He has a great sense of humor and is very patient which makes it easy to work with him and get to know him better. Congratulations Mike!! We appreciate your hard work with the Homeco Team!

Homeco’s Rock Star nomination to the America's Best Installer Batt Competition, is without a doubt Shane! He has exceeded not only our expectations with his exceptional work ethic but also the outstanding quality of his work. Shane runs a tight ship ensuring that schedules and inspections are met on time and successfully. When it comes to safety, Shane also excels in making sure the jobsites are safe, clean, and ready for our crews. As a leader, he takes everyone's work quality on the job personally and knows the importance of keeping critical schedules. So much that we have General Contractors that will specifically request Shane on their projects because they know the job will be done right, on time, and he will keep the lines of communication open to them.
Shane is currently running one of the largest projects in Homeco’s history, the Ford Site Redevelopment, consisting of 320 rowhomes each being built to the new owner’s specifications so communication and attention to detail is key. Thank you, Johns Manville, for this opportunity, we couldn't be prouder to recognize and nominate Shane as America's Best Installer!

It was field trip day for Lisa Ojile at the Fort Snelling's Upper Post Flats and Highland Bridge jobsites. Lisa, the new CEO and WBE of Homeco Insulation, has had a little over a month in the office training with Donna so it was time to show her the intricacies of our Field Team's work and get their perspective on the job and it's progress.
