We didn’t remodel this house. We basically told one whole side of it, “You’re moving.”
We knocked down the exterior wall and expanded the home 14 feet to create a brand-new kitchen, butler’s pantry, and storage area. And because we don’t do anything halfway… we dug out the basement and extended it the same 14 feet first. Structure, foundation, flow — all of it had to make sense from the ground up.
The kitchen is now the heart of the home. Custom hickory cabinets built by Barron and his team bring that rich, natural warmth, paired with a bronze rustic island that anchors the entire space. The stone has movement and depth without screaming for attention. Bold, but grounded.
The butler’s pantry carries the same custom cabinetry and is finished with warm-toned countertops from Masterpiece Granite that tie everything together. Tons of storage. Tons of intention.
We matched the circle-sawn floors to the existing house so the addition feels like it’s always been there. Seamless. No “new part” vibe.
And then we took it one step further. Barron and his team also built a custom hickory table with matching benches to tie directly into the cabinetry. Same warmth. Same character. Now the kitchen doesn’t just look good — it invites people to sit down and stay awhile.
The bathroom? We leaned all the way in. Cast iron clawfoot tub. Antique-style fixtures. Subway tile. Penny tile floor by Fabian and his crew It feels like it’s been there for 100 years — in the best way.
From digging out a basement to building out a space that feels timeless and intentional… this one was a full transformation.
Big moves. Solid bones. Built right.
