As most of you have either seen or heard, my papaw, Ranny Jones, was involved in a serious car accident a few months ago. He still has some recovery ahead of him, which is expected but he has made tremendous strides. We, as a family, are in awe of all of the support that was so graciously given to my grandparents during this time and they wanted me to share their personal thank you to each and every one of you:

We, Ranny and Claudia Jones, along with all of the family would like to put out a thank you to all our family, friends, loved ones, and community for the tremendous support we have received since Ranny's traumatic accident. We have been so blessed with such support and love we can't even begin to express our gratitude! We are so grateful for those who have rallied around us and our family. It's a complete blessing to be shown this much love and support when a bad thing happens. It shows people can come together and support each other and help each other during these difficult times and our community has definitely been there for us.

We truly appreciate all the prayers, calls, thoughts, visits, goody baskets, meals, help with jobs we had, and financial support that we have been given. There just aren't words to even explain what it has meant to us and our family. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as Ranny continues with his recovery. He has overcome so much but still has a ways to go. All the prayers and help we have received is what has kept us going. We could not have made it without God, and the unbelievable support of our family and community. Thanks again for everything that everyone has done.

On Monday, Travis’ father was involved in a head on collision while traveling to work here in Blairsville. He sustained severe injuries from this which will take a substantial amount of time to recover from. In this time of healing, Ranny still has bills to pay and a family to provide for as well and can benefit from all the support our community is willing to offer him. We ask that you would please keep Ranny, his wife Claudia, Travis, and their family in your prayers in the days ahead.
