This morning we very pleasantly received another 5-Star Google review!

Working with Mr. & Mrs. McElroy has been such a pleasure. They were incredibly nice, offered us water, snacks, and breaks often, and working with the (sometimes frustrating) inspection/permit process was also very easy. We all communicated very effectively and were able to get the job done!

A huge thank you to this family for choosing us for their on-site storage needs!

We also got an updated photo of the shed now that Mr McElroy has painted it and added some shutters. It looks great!

Garage Doors/Roll Up Doors

We have had a few requests for garage/roll up doors and we wanted to let you guys know that while we don't have a supplier for these types of doors that can service the entire state like we do, we will absolutely frame an opening for one!

This 12x18 shed was built in Wilmington NC, and the gentleman wanted a garage door he had in storage added to his shed. We are very happy with how it turned out! We framed the appropriately sized opening for him and once we were packed up and gone, the door was installed and it looks great!

If you are wanting a specialty door, all we need from you is the dimensions needed for the opening of whatever door you are wanting to have installed. Once we are finished with your shed, the local-to-you company of your choice can come in and install your door!

Serving the entire state comes with its pros and cons.
Pros: we are most likely available to come to your area!
Cons: not every company has large of a service area, so some things just have to be outsourced.
Pros: You can choose your own accessory companies, which opens up plenty of customization options to you vs just having to choose from a small selection 1 company may offer.

Unpainted Sheds!
Specifically, today we are talking about paint, and whether or not you *need* your shed to be painted.

We understand wanting to save where you can, which is why we do not push you to spend more money. All of our shed's base prices include two windows, double doors, and a metal roof. This base price is as low as we can manage, while you still receive a high-quality product stick built in your yard by our experienced team (some companies don't include windows in their base prices).

When you reach out for pricing, we will mention additions, including paint, and let you make informed decisions, but we do not believe in high-pressure sales.

The siding and trim we use is pre-primed, ready for paint. The siding is LP Smartside Panel Siding, which comes from the factory with a 50-year warranty. However, we read through the fine print of their warranty, and it says the 50yr warranty is void if the siding is *not* painted.

When we price the paint addition, we are only pricing the cost of the paint. There is no labor included! We are already building your shed, and it is very easy for us to sneak the paint into our process, and we don't believe it to be necessary to nickel and dime our customers to death.

As shown in all these unpainted shed photos, the unpainted sheds look really nice. These are sheds that the customers have decided they'd like to paint themselves. Many of them include their kids, and make their paint process a fun family experience, and some just like to paint!

We will not push you to have us paint your shed. We will only inform you of what we recommend (they do need to be painted at some point), and it is quick for us to do, but ultimately, we leave it up to what you think is best for you at the time of your purchase!

We undoubtedly have the most amazing customers, across the board, full stop🛑

In addition to that, some of those amazing customers decide they like their sheds, and working with us, so much that they choose to purchase another.

We were recently chosen by a very entertaining gentleman in Durham NC who wanted a 12x12, who then decided he wanted an additional 8x10. He wanted no frill, just function, and that's the order we fulfilled.

We always remain humble and thankful for everyone's support towards our small business.

10x12 in Mt Holly, NC

As some of you have noticed, we are trying to do better about keeping this page a little more active! So, we are backlogging our sheds from the last few years that we have not posted. Stay tuned!

Lately the topic has been building on concrete pads. So, with that theme in mind, we are showcasing this little cutie we built in June of this year in Mt Holly.
The customer was extraordinarily nice and easy to work with. He called us before his pad was poured, and we worked together to ensure his pad was poured properly, was a good size and thickness, poured square, and cured an appropriate amount of time so we could build and anchor the shed to it without causing damage to the pad.

We also worked together to build some custom shelving to fit the customers particular needs and preferences.

We were all very happy with how it turned out. It is sitting firmly upon it's little hill, overlooking the neighborhood and as you can see, his yard was fenced with a gate too narrow for delivery, or anything else much wider than 8ft.

If you, or someone you know, is looking for some solid storage but have a hard to access area, we are experienced and properly equipped to get the job done.

We offer sizes 8x8-14x24. Our most popular and economical size is 12x16, as this size has the least amount of material cutoff/waste, so you're getting the best bang for your buck.

Yesterday we showcased building on a concrete pad, with the concrete acting as the shed floor. That pad was poured with us in mind, and was level, dimensionally proper, and square.

Today we want to show how we can still build on concrete pads, even if they're old, out of square, or not level.

The concrete still serves as a solid, long-lasting base for the shed to sit on, even if it's not suitable to be the actual floor.

You will also notice we still use *at least* a 2" block under the pressure treated runners, which keeps all wood off of ground contact, keeping the base dry and further extending the life and quality of the shed base.

Also, we're not going to skip over the sleek look of the black with white trim 😎

Many thanks to Eric for choosing us for his on-site storage needs! Eric wanted his shed to be built behind his fenced yard. He had 2 roughly 5ft gates for us to go through, with limited access. No vehicle could fit and definitely not a pre-built shed.

Most of our sheds are portable units, but sometimes we have customers who want something a little more permanent.

This wonderful customer in King, NC had a concrete pad poured for his floor and we could not be happier with how this turned out.
The walls are anchored and sealed for water resistance per NC Building Code (as is all of our work btw 😉)

His HOA required shingles to match his home, which we were happy to do.
He also wanted to paint it himself, so we can't wait to see how it turns out!
