Here's another project I forgot to post. LOL. This is a stair landing that goes to a basement utility area or to a family room. My customers wanted a door and had low headroom so I built a custom barn door to close off the opening. Thanks Tom and Holly for being a return customer.

Here is another one of my projects from over the winter. This repeat customer contacted me about installing new kitchen cupboards and countertops in their cabin at Axhandle Lake. The original were very well built homemade cabinets from the previous owner but the new owners wanted some more modern upgraded ones. We definitely gave it a new look with these new cabinets. And yes im also horrible about remembering to post my jobs to Facebook LOL. Thanks Tom and Holly for the repeat business.

Happy New Year!! Now that the holiday hustle is wrapping up it may be time to start thinking about doing some interior updates to your home. Here's another recent project from by Colfax, and no its not an outhouse!! I was contacted by the customer and asked if i could build a new insulated, well, pumphouse. The old one was not insulated and you could basically see thru it. The challenge with this project was building a level well house on a 6' square cement slab that had settled to be 5" out of level but I got it done. I also installed a good used door that they had from one of their previous projects. Thanks Scott for trusting me with your project

Here's another project I just wrapped up by Bloomer. I received a call about doing some updates on a garage. I wound up replacing 3 windows in this garage, and I also removed the small overhead garage door, framed it in, and installed a new window there, too. Here is another one of my jobs from this fall. I replaced 7 windows in this garage / guest bunk house. One was broken out by a grouse flying thru it and breaking out the glass, and also, the frames were all rotting out. Here's another recent project. We installed vinyl siding and aluminum fascia and soffit on a boat garage. As you can tell from the pictures, the wood siding, fascia, and soffit were getting pretty weathered, and it was time to make it maintenance-free before it got too bad. Here is a job I've been working on off and on over the winter. (SEE MORE PICS IN COMMENTS) It was an open basement that got a huge facelift. I built the walls, insulated and installed drywall. I lined up a local contractor to cut out the concrete so a local plumber could rough in plumbing for a basement bathroom. The contractor then put in new concrete to fill in the floor In the bathroom area. The plumber also set the shower stall and has a little work left to finish as of now. I then installed a drop ceiling to finish that off and installed vinyl plank flooring. Carpet on the steps will be done shortly also. Thanks to the local contractors that helped this project come together. Thanks Tom and Holly for trusting me with your awesome winter project.

This is last winters big project!

Now is the time to start thinking about your winter projects or remodeling you want to have done.

Here was a project that I spent a good part of last winter on. The job was removing the floor for the bedroom above the living room and then turning the living room and above bedroom area into a living room with a 15' high vaulted ceiling. I had some help a few days from another local contractor for some of the bigger parts of the remodel. Thanks Joe and Dawn for trusting me with your project!
