Excel has operated for 10 years primarily performing thinning, mastication, and fire mitigation in mountain and Bosque regions. Our first contract for tree removal was a 50 acre thinning job on private land, which included hand thinning pine and pinon trees which were to be loaded and hauled out from job site. From this we expanded our services and begin to bid on jobs in the Brazos and Jemez fore

st districts. We were awarded a contract from 2001-2009 in the Brazos are that included 100 acres of thinning in and around homes for fire mitigation. We were also awarded a contract from the Jemez forest district from 2007-2009 which was also 100 acres of thinning in and around homes for fire mitigation. Our most recent project consisted of 85 acres of thinning in Mesa De Las Vejas in which we had to haul our the wood. Our work experience along the Bosque has included extracting and chipping of non-native and undesireable tree species in the Bosque, which consisted of over 100 acres of thinning for a private land owner. We have worked for many private land owners covering large amounts of property, as well as with government agencies such as New Mexico State Forestry, New Mexico Game and Fish, and Abiquiu Realty agencies.
