Heat……. What heat??? Kidding it’s miserable out. I’ve sweated so much this week but gotta keep plugging away. Lots of water, Gatorade and pedialyte. The works gotta get done. Getting close on this wall.

Ready to be through this heat wave and get into fall weather. Also ready for some college football tomorrow.

With wrapping up this project I’ve decided to retire this hat. It hung on as long as it could. Pretty nasty now. A lot of hours, sweat and hard work came from under this thing. Several projects were completing while wearing it as is evident. Starting a wall of well worn hats.

Time to break out a new one!

Rain delayed it some but finished up this retaining wall gravel space with a fire pit, walkway and steps for this family...

Rain delayed it some but finished up this retaining wall gravel space with a fire pit, walkway and steps for this family. They were very happy with how it turned out and looked just like they envisioned.

Now they just need to get their shed put in place on top and they will be hanging out and cooking on the fire pit in no time.

We were able to knock this project out yesterday for return customers. Earlier this year I redid their back landscape. They asked me to come back and trim shrubs, put new landscape fabric down and replace the mulch with river rock. It looks so much cleaner and more under control.

Greatly appreciate good clients and return work.

We pulled some shrubs, took out old river rock and cut an edge in as well as trimmed up some shrubs and removed volunteer trees. Got this bed ready to transform the look from overgrown to under control and manageable.

That’s a wrap on these retaining walls. Finished the cap and installed the slate rock. We also extended the downspout drain pipe so it doesn’t dump out and wash under the driveway. Forgot to take pictures of that but I will.

Gotta love seeing the finished product. Over 150’ of base prep and base blocks to get this thing started. When building a wall the foundation is the most important part. Much like in life having a good foundation to build on can set you up for success in the future. Love being able to help make improvements to people’s property.
