Yesterday we again repaired a burst water line in a Crawlspace that had open foundation vents. It also has insulated floors, which keeps the heat from the water lines. So, close foundation vents and don’t let an insulation contractor sell you on putting insulation (mouse habitat) in your floor or on your pipes.

My own kids didn’t know what a church key is. So, I’ve begun collecting those with adverts stamped in. Go ahead and Google it millennials, gen X, Y and Z.

I am currently relaxing and taking advantage of having an extra day off. It's nice to have a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I've been spending my time reading, cooking, and catching up on some household chores. It's been a lovely and peaceful weekend so far.

Thank you all….. Google has us back on line. It was frightening to be lost and unavailable to new clients.
On a side note; this morning I’m enjoying watching Val out feeding the Great Disappearanese dogs, donkeys, ducks, chickens, and two turkeys.

Please, with this weather, locate the main water valve for your home. Teach others in your home how to operate it. Doing so can abate damage from freeze and burst.
