The Lakes of Mahtomedi is a 39-unit, podium-style 55+ community in Mahtomedi, Minnesota. Spanning more than 71,000 square feet, the property includes one- to three-bedroom units and a wide range of amenities, including a community room, lakeside lounge, fitness room, golf simulator, outdoor grilling station, rooftop patio, and underground parking.

Located less than a mile from downtown Mahtomedi, the building showcases stunning 360-degree views. As a pet-friendly community, it’s the perfect setting for active adults with pets who love the outdoors. Residents are close to a variety of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, as well as four golf courses, three community parks, three beaches, and the Gateway Trail.

Completed this past summer, The Lakes of Mahtomedi delivers more than high-quality, modern amenities and beautiful scenery. 3rd Annual Arizona Open House 🌵

Team members from our Minneapolis and Charlotte offices flew in to spend the week with the crew in our new Phoenix office. It all came together last Thursday, October 22nd, at the 3rd Annual Arizona Open House!

This week, Collin Allen, Megan Bur, and Alex Williams joined Bigos Management, Inc. and RJM Construction for the Wall Breaking Ceremony kicking off construction on Glasshouse at Galtier!

The office-to-residential conversion will transform a historic office building in St. Paul, MN into 166 designer apartments. We are proud to serve as the architect on this project.

Congratulations to all of our project partners. We look forward to bringing Glasshouse at Galtier to life!

- Carver Oaks

Carver Oaks is a 43-unit, podium-style independent senior housing community in Carver, Minnesota, serving residents aged 55 and older. Spanning more than 61,000 square feet, the property offers one- and two-bedroom units along with a variety of amenities, including a clubroom, library, craft room, and fitness studio.

Sustainability was a key focus throughout the project. Carver Oaks was designed to meet the Minnesota Sustainable Building 2030 (SB 2030) energy standards and the Enterprise Green Communities Criteria with the Minnesota Overlay.

Completed in early 2026, Carver Oaks is the third new construction project we have delivered in partnership with our client, the Carver County Community Development Agency. Projects like this help older adults stay connected in the community they love. We're proud to play a part in expanding the quality housing options for seniors in Carver County!

- Accent Berkeley Place

Accent Berkeley Place is a modern, community-focused multifamily apartment complex in Charlotte, North Carolina. Its four residential buildings offer 198 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units across more than 324,000 square feet. The site posed a significant challenge with over 80% of the property having slopes of 10% or more. Working closely with our project partners, we found a solution. A multi-tiered retaining wall was placed on the south side of the property with main floor entries on the uphill side and a basement level emerging at the downhill edge. Additional retaining walls were added on the east, west, and north side of the site.

Thanks to the retaining wall on the east side of the property, residents enjoy views of the tree canopy from the pool and patio area. Nearby, a pergola with lounge seating and a grilling area create space for neighbors to gather, and a dog run serves residents with pets. Inside the 6,000-square-foot clubhouse, residents will find a fitness center, a clubroom, and a focus room for remote work.

Congratulations to all of this year's honorees, and thank you to Rethos for all you do for historic preservation in Minnesota!

- Sierra on 66

Sierra on 66 is a 221-unit affordable housing community located along Route 66 in Flagstaff, AZ. Situated on 10.54 acres, the Roers Companies development includes five three-story garden-style buildings, one three-story building above a covered garage, and a clubhouse. The property emphasizes sustainability through its all-electric design, photovoltaic-equipped parking canopies, a HERS Index of 65 or lower, and bike-friendly paths that promote alternative transportation.

Residents enjoy a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, clubroom, coffee bar, and work-from-home space. Outdoor features include a bocce ball court, dog run, and a central open space with a tot lot, green area, and a thoughtfully fenced-in section of the Flagstaff landscape.

Completed at the end 2025, Sierra on 66 is approaching its first full year of operation. We are grateful to have helped bring this project to life and expand the affordable housing opportunities in Arizona.
