Two of our projects will be featured in John R. DaSilva, FAIA's upcoming book: Shingle Style Houses: The Evolution of an Inventive Architecture. The book is due out on August 28th. For those interested, Schiffer Publishing and Rizzoli Bookstore have arranged a launch event in New York City on the evening of Thursday, August 27th.

John will be speaking about the book in a panel discussion with Tom Kligerman and Michael McClung, moderated by Kyle Hoepner. The discussion will be followed by a book signing. If anyone happens to be in New York City that evening and would like to attend, reserve a spot at the link below:

Looking straight up at the newly installed trusses for one of our latest projects, you can see a bright strip of daylight running right down the center.

This simple gap is crucial for keeping the building well-ventilated, moisture-free, and energy-efficient for years to come.

Just got our latest issue of Residential Design Magazine, the Awards Issue. It's an honor to see two of our projects included among the many great awarded projects in the 2026 Residential Design Magazine Awards. Our Farmhouse in a Meadow project can be found on page 48, a Citation winner in the Custom Period or Vernacular House category. And the Old Yacht Club story begins on page 56. As always, these projects require a team effort to bring to fruition.
