Two custom steel stair assemblies, one project — our architectural field crew has been hard at work.

Both the main stair and the back stair feature the same "Zig Zag" stringer design: two hidden 3/4" steel stringers with a spacer to create the glass shoe for a glass railing system, 3/16" steel tread and riser plates, and a visible 1/4" steel zig zag trim plate capping the wood treads and risers — painted to match the home's windows.

The back stair is fully installed, and our crew is currently on site installing the main stair. Two staircases, one cohesive design language, fabricated entirely in-house at Tebbens Steel.
