This boat had three major cracks that were letting in 5–6 gallons of water every trip into each toon!

I came out, drilled out the ends of the cracks, prepped everything properly, and welded it up.

Now this customer can have stress free weekends out on the water.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice so we can live safe and free every day. We are forever grateful for those who gave everything for this country and for the families who carry that loss with them.

Meaning Continuous Improvement

I’m always looking for more ways to become more efficient, and for the longest time I just swapped out whatever bottles I needed for whatever job I was heading too.

Now with adding onto my bottle rack, I can have all my bottles. All my welders and my generator and can essentially do whatever process needs to be done.

Only thing left to do for this setup is to get a welding generator next. So I can tackle some more heavier jobs! Thank you everyone for the support!

Don’t trust silicone and duct tape with your safety this summer. Have Palmetto Welding come to you and weld them properly.

We’re fully mobile, we can come to your house, marina, or meet you at the boat ramp.

Trust your safety with someone experienced. I’ve been welding for over 7 years and also teach welding. I stand behind my work with a warranty, so you won’t be left high and dry if anything goes wrong.

Couldn’t get the bolt off so, I removed the nut and was able to weld a new one on! I didn’t do a full weld on the nut because the original was just tacked on.

🚨 Quick Update ‼️

For those who don’t know, I’m currently a senior at University of South Carolina double majoring in Operations & Supply Chain and Finance. I also teach welding part-time at Midlands Technical College every weeknight.

On top of that, I’ll be starting an internship this May with Nucor Corporation focused on coordination & cost analysis of multimodal logistics 🚂

With everything going on, I’ll be taking on limited welding work till the end of the year.

Feel free to still reach out! I appreciate everyone’s patience on responses lately. Just understand I may not be able to do every job with everything I have going on. If I can’t, I’ll always point you to someone I trust 🤝

I’m not quitting or going anywhere. Just focusing on finishing my degree strong and enjoying what little free time I’ve got ⏱️

After graduation this fall, I plan to either work in the industry or teach welding full time while running palmetto welding on the side.

I really appreciate all the support — none of this would be possible without it ❤️

I’ve also heard all the requests for T-shirts and coffee mugs, and I’m working on getting those ready now. I’ll post more info soon.
