There have been times I’ve given a loud sigh over seemingly small things that Jonathan expects at work. I’ve found myself frustrated over things that I’d like to do, but he does instead. Don’t think that’s because I’m a female. I’ve used every tool, saw, etc. It comes down to safety. Safety is always top priority. Everything he sets the bar to is to keep me safe, him safe, and even customers safe. Everything has a place and stays organized, batteries and blades removed from all tools always when finished using them, etc. You get used to rockin and rollin and get comfortable in the things you consistently do as it feels second nature. Reality set in yesterday when the slip of a blade had us rushing to the ER. These things are nothing to sigh at, and I’ve never meant it rudely, but yesterday proved anything can happen. From the biggest of tasks to the smallest, accidents can happen in the literal blink of an eye.
