At CWI, we’re proud to honor the surveying professionals who play a vital role in shaping our communities. National Surveyors Week is celebrated annually during the week in March that begins on the third Sunday; this year, it falls on March 15–21, 2026.

This year’s theme recognizes 250 years of mapping America, highlighting the profession’s legacy, from the early work that guided the nation’s founders to today’s innovation powered by GPS, LiDAR, drones, and advanced geospatial technologies.

Surveyors continue to provide the critical measurements, mapping, and geospatial insight that support infrastructure, property rights, environmental stewardship, and the built environment we all rely on.

To all the dedicated surveyors on our team and across the nation, thank you for the precision, expertise, and commitment you bring to this essential profession.

CWI and SBE Subconsultant Whidden Surveying & Mapping are proud to announce the completion of a combined conventional survey and aerial lidar/photogrammetry mission, including 14 miles of FPL transmission lines for the South Florida Water Management District's Broward County Seepage Management Area WCA 3A and 3B. The project limits extend from I-75 and the Andy Substation near Weston to just south of the intersection of US-27 and Krome Avenue in western Miami. CWI was putting in overtime throughout weekend, performing vehicle-mounted terrestrial 3D laser scanning of the frontage and entrance of Florida Atlantic University along Glades Road in Boca Raton.
