Job Description:
This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is new to roofing but eager to learn the skills needed to build a successful career in the trade. The position involves assisting with the tear-off, installation, maintenance, and repair of roofs, under the guidance and supervision of seasoned professionals. You’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop your skill set, and grow with our company.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with the tear-off, installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of roofs, including shingle, shake, metal, and flat roofs
* Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
* Clean up job sites and ensure materials and tools are stored properly
* Work with team members to meet project deadlines and customer expectations
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
* Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while on job sites
Qualifications:
* Willingness to learn and take direction
* Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
* Good physical stamina and strength for handling materials and tools
* Reliable transportation to job sites
* Previous construction experience is a plus but not required
