๐ฝ๏ธ Kitchen Sink Backed Up? Grease Strikes Again! ๐จ๐ง
Kitchen sink clogs are one of the most common plumbing problems we see, and grease buildup is usually the culprit.
In this video, we cleared a blocked kitchen drain using our Milwaukee Pistol Rod machine through a conveniently located 2-inch cleanout underneath the sink. Once we opened the line, we ran plenty of hot water behind the cable to help flush out the grease and thoroughly clean the drain.
๐ Why we like this method:
โ๏ธ Direct access through the cleanout
โ๏ธ Effective grease removal
โ๏ธ Thorough flushing of the drain line
โ๏ธ Restores proper flow
๐ก Pro Tip:
Even though grease goes down the drain as a liquid, it cools and solidifies inside the pipes over time. Combined with soap and food particles, it can create stubborn blockages.
๐ซ Never pour:
โ Cooking oil
โ Bacon grease
โ Fats and grease
โ Coffee grounds
down your kitchen sink.
