Reflecting on another successful golf outing.

The Stevenson Crane, Rigging & Heavy Haul team appreciated the opportunity to attend and connect with customers, partners, and friends across the industry. It was a fantastic day on the course.

We were proud to showcase one of our cranes and play a role in hosting that part of the event. It was also enjoyable to see the team wearing various versions of their Stevenson golf apparel throughout the day.

Days like this serve as a reminder that strong business is built on strong relationships, fostered through conversations, teamwork, trust, and quality time spent together.

Something BIG Is About to Land in the Midwest.
900 US tons. Nearly 500 feet of hoist height. Nine axles.

It’s official, Stevenson Crane’s new Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 is set to hit port in Galveston, TX on July 5th.

With a maximum hoist height of approximately 500 feet, this machine brings serious heavy-lift capability to the Chicago area and the greater Midwest.

The crane will be permanently stationed in the Chicago market for daily plant, industrial, infrastructure, and local heavy-lift work.

Built on a 9-axle carrier, the LTM 1750-9.1 combines high-capacity lifting with the mobility needed for demanding job sites.

This is a major fleet addition for Stevenson Crane and a major step forward for the work ahead.

A big thank you to Dustin at our South Holland location for firing up the grill and making lunch for the Stevenson team.

We’re grateful for the hardworking people in the field, in the shop, in the office, and behind the scenes who help keep Stevenson moving every day. Taking a moment to share a meal and enjoy each other’s company is a great reminder that our team is what makes this company special.

You Won’t Believe What We Had to Lift Over Michigan Avenue…

Chicago doesn’t stop moving, especially around the historic The Congress Plaza Hotel & Convention Center.

Our team was recently hired to hoist and set (2) new cooling towers at the iconic Congress Hotel in downtown Chicago. With Michigan Avenue traffic, tight working conditions, and the challenges that come with protecting a historic structure, this project required extensive coordination, engineered planning, and precise ex*****on from start to finish.

From crane placement strategy and lift sequencing to safety planning with the customer and surrounding crews, every detail had to be dialed in before a single pick was made.

The result: another complex downtown Chicago project completed safely, efficiently, and with excellence by the Stevenson team.
