⚡️Recently completed a complex, custom generator installation right here in St. James, NC, that other companies said could not be done. This wasn't your standard "out-of-the-box" setup—it required the precision of an engineer and the resourcefulness of a local pro.

The Project Highlights:
✅ Premium Power: A reliable Cummins generator paired with a 200 amp ATS for seamless backup.
✅ Smart Tech: Integrated load management modules to ensure the home’s most critical systems stay powered without overloading the unit.
✅ Custom Compliance: The real challenge? St. James has strict compliance standards. There were also code changes and new flood elevations. We performed custom modifications to the enclosure to meet all local requirements and passed inspection the first time as always, while maintaining a clean, professional look.

At WaveRider Electric & Automation, we don't just pull permits; we solve problems. With an Electrical Engineering background and a passion for craftsmanship, Jason Wagner ensures every install is done the right way—even when it’s "impossible."

Don't settle for "no" when it comes to your home's security. Get the backup power solution your Brunswick or New Hanover County home deserves.

📍 Serving: St. James, Southport, Oak Island, and all of Brunswick and New Hanover County.

👀⚡Electric vehicle charging shouldn't mean compromising the look of your home or the safety of your electrical system! ⚡🚗. It also doesn't have to break the bank! 🤑👎💰BEMC, Duke, and federal incentives are available for a limited time!

Check out these recent installations right here in the Brunswick and New Hanover County coastal area. We installed two high-performance Emporia chargers in Ocean Ridge Plantation and Riverlights, plus a Tesla Universal Wall Connector in Sunset Beach. For the Tesla unit, I built a custom recess into the wall so the charger sits flush and doesn't stick out—clean, out-of-the-way, and aesthetically pleasing because attention to detail matters.

In older homes, adding an EV charger often means your electrical panel may need an upgrade. In the last photo, you can see the electrical panel upgrade we performed alongside the installation, complete with a whole-house surge suppressor to protect against our unpredictable coastal weather and grid fluctuations. 💰💲There are current incentives from local and federal government programs that can cover your panel upgrade!

As a licensed Master Electrician and Electrical Engineer, I ensure your home's power load is perfectly balanced and safe and installations will last for decades to come.
