We're Hiring! 🚧📋
Wingate Construction Group is growing and we need a sharp, organized team player to join us in Warner Robins.
We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager / Office Manager who can wear a few different hats. On any given day you might be reviewing plans and reaching out to subs for pricing, or you might be tracking invoices, managing emails, and keeping the office running smoothly. If construction is in your blood and you're the person everyone leans on to keep things organized -- we want to talk to you.
Construction experience is a must. Pay is competitive and based on experience.

Retail spaces don’t build themselves… and tenant fit-outs are where the vision actually comes to life.

At Wingate Construction Group, we work closely with owners and tenants to turn empty shells into fully functional, ready-to-open spaces. From restaurants and markets to retail storefronts, every project comes with its own set of challenges and details and we’re here for all of it.

It’s not just about getting the doors open. It’s about creating a space that works, flows, and supports the business from day one.

If you’ve got a retail or tenant fit-out project coming up in Middle Georgia, let’s talk.

Progress you don’t always see… but it’s what makes everything work.

We’ve been making steady strides on the QC Lab project in Macon, from mechanical installs to interior build-out and everything in between. It’s the kind of work that may not look glamorous yet, but it’s critical to getting the space ready to perform exactly how it’s supposed to.

Every detail matters at this stage, and our team is focused on getting it right from the ground up. Looking forward to bringing this one across the finish line soon.

🌤 Storm Check-In Across Middle Georgia

After yesterday’s storms moved through the region, our team is checking job sites to make sure everything is secure and ready to move forward safely.

Severe weather can impact construction sites in ways that aren’t always visible right away — from loose materials and temporary fencing to standing water and site access conditions.

At Wingate Construction, part of our process is making sure every site is inspected and safe before work continues.

If you manage a commercial property or project site in Middle Georgia and have questions about storm-related construction concerns, feel free to reach out. We’re always happy to help.

Stay safe, and we hope everyone weathered the storms well.

🏢 5 Things Property Managers Should Check After Severe Weather

Storms can leave behind issues that aren’t always obvious right away. A quick inspection can help prevent safety concerns and costly repairs.

After severe weather, property managers should check:

1️⃣ Signage and fencing for damage
2️⃣ Roof drains and gutters for blockages
3️⃣ Building exterior for leaks or damage
4️⃣ Electrical and HVAC units outside
5️⃣ Parking areas and walkways for debris or standing water

If you manage commercial property in Middle Georgia, staying proactive after storms can protect your building and tenants.
