Construction continues to move forward at Catalina Clubhouse!

Our team is making steady progress throughout the clubhouse. Interior framing and MEP coordination are ongoing, while roofing, stucco, and window work continue. Pool construction and site improvements are also progressing.

The Kitchen and Wellness Center recently passed fire-suppression rough inspections, marking another milestone for the project.

Project Executive Michael Brunoli and Superintendent Cesar Castaneda are helping lead the effort alongside our trade partners as the clubhouse continues to take shape.

We appreciate the teamwork behind this project and look forward to sharing more updates as work progresses.

Meet Tyler Gray, a Construction Superintendent at Heatherwood Construction. Construction has been a part of Tyler’s life from an early age. At just 10 years old, he found himself alongside his grandfather, passionately ripping out old windows and tearing down old cedar shake. Those early experiences sparked a lasting passion for the craft and made it clear that construction was the path he wanted to pursue.

Before joining Heatherwood Construction, he worked as a carpenter and mason in the Boston area throughout high school and college. He went on to attend Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he studied Civil Engineering & Construction Management. During college, he accepted an intern position with Heatherwood, an opportunity that ultimately led to a full-time position after graduation.

One of the most rewarding parts of Tyler’s job is seeing a project come full circle—watching a finished building stand where there was once nothing more than a rolled-up set of plans. For Tyler, the finished product represents more than just a completed project; it represents something that was built on principle.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, shooting darts, and working in the garage.

We’re proud to have Tyler on the Heatherwood team and look forward to seeing all that he continues to build.

Esprit at Avenir is taking shape.

Our North and South Buildings have both reached key milestones, with roof tile and metal systems complete. Interior framing and rough-ins are underway, while stucco work has officially started with metal lath and bead installation.

The Pavilion Building has also completed its metal roof system, and work is beginning to shift outdoors with excavation starting for the swimming pools, spas, and pickleball courts, weather permitting.

Progress like this takes strong coordination across the entire project team. Thank you to our Heatherwood team and project partners for the continued collaboration and attention to detail as we bring Esprit at Avenir to life.

We are proud to be working alongside Kolter Homes on this project and look forward to the milestones ahead.

We’re proud to spotlight Sean Squibb who has been part of the Heatherwood team for nearly four years. With a background in architecture, building systems, and construction management, he was introduced to Walter and was given the opportunity to join Heatherwood as an intern. That experience sparked a passion for field construction and the opportunity to see a project come to life from start to finish.

Sean joined Heatherwood as an Assistant Superintendent after relocating to Florida and has continued to grow into his role, now as a Superintendent. Along the way, Sean gained valuable hands-on experience, learned from industry professionals, and earned certifications in areas including OSHA, Procore, safety, and medical training. He looks forward to continuing to learn and grow with the support and resources available at Heatherwood.

Outside of work he enjoy spending time with his dog-training him (In German), spending time with family and friends, shooting/clays, working on and restoring cars, traveling to his hometown as well as new places he has never been. He enjoys learning to build furniture and going to various local events.

We’re excited to have Sean as part of the HCC team and look forward to watching his career continue to grow!

Great day on the range supporting FGCU and the next generation of construction professionals.

Heatherwood was proud to participate in the FGCU Eagle Eye Sporting Clays Tournament, helping support the U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering and Stock Development Construction Management Programs.

We enjoyed the day and the opportunity to support students pursuing careers in our industry.

With more than 35 years in the construction industry, John Tiseo began building his career at just 13 years old, spending summers sweeping and cleaning job sites. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for construction and a career that has included owning a specialty trades business and serving as a superintendent for several companies.

For the past eight years, John has been a Superintendent with Heatherwood Construction, overseeing and managing many aspects of day-to-day field operations throughout each phase of commercial construction. His time with Heatherwood has provided opportunities to expand his knowledge and strengthen his skills while working on a wide variety of commercial construction projects.

One of the things he values most about working at Heatherwood is the company’s commitment to work-life balance. He appreciates having the flexibility to take time for himself and his family while continuing to accomplish his professional goals.

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his family—and especially embraces his newest role as a grandfather.

We’re glad to have John on our team and look forward to the experience, dedication, and leadership he continues to bring to our projects and to Heatherwood.

Greg Haas, a Project Manager at Heatherwood Construction, joined our team in late 2025 and immediately stepped up to manage the financial and operational puzzle pieces of our largest private club project in Florida to date. With a background in engineering, Greg’s career journey spans vital service as a federal government responder during the 9/11 and Anthrax responses before transitioning his problem-solving skills to the private construction sector.

Today, he loves collaborating daily with field teams to turn complex building challenges into smooth solutions, driven by a deep sense of gratitude for his supportive coworkers. Gratitude is the Heatherwood core value that resonates most with Greg as he is grateful to be part of such an excellent team who have consistently come together to support each other to solve complex issues.

When he isn't steering projects toward their completion, this Michigan State University alumnus is a massive sports fan. You can usually find Greg cheering on his beloved Spartans football team or attending youth baseball and volleyball games. If he could share a cup of coffee with anyone from history to swap life stories, it would be Winston Churchill.

We are grateful for Greg's expertise, leadership, and dedication to the Heatherwood team!
