Proud to be a part of this then and now!

In March of 1952 the ground-breaking of the Horn Amphitheatre was started by Greene Construction. Opening night that year was June 27th.

The Horn Amphitheatre is under going a few upgrades this year, 2026. While Greene Construction is still involved, there are some new faces at work too. Mahala Electric & Excavating - thanks for helping give the amphitheater new life.

It was a beautiful App State Graduation weekend in Boone

Congrats to all the grads

Wanted to wish a very special congrats to two of our own

Mirielle Shore graduated with a building sciences degree in construction management. She’s been working part time with us for about 9 months as she finished up her studies and we are excited that she has decided to stick around with us as a full time an assistant superintendent

Gavin Windish also walked over the weekend for his building sciences degree in construction management. Gavin has been serving as our project intern on the STEM 1 building at App State’s innovation district and will continue in this role full time now that he has finished up his classwork.

Congrats Miri and Gavin. We are proud of you and happy to have you both on our GCI team!
