Storefront Door Not Latching:
A customer contacted us regarding aluminum storefront doors that would not properly latch, creating a security concern.
Upon arrival, our technician identified the root cause: the threshold was unsupported and “floating” due to a height difference between the interior finished floor and the exterior approach. This improper installation prevented the doors from aligning and latching correctly.
To resolve the issue, we installed a properly fitted, ADA-compliant ramp. This not only stabilized the threshold and restored proper door function, but also brought the entrance into ADA compliance.

Doors now latch and secure properly
