One of our workers was hit today while on Epworth Road. He was not knocked down but has injuries to his arm. To the guy in the white Dodge truck....you are lucky you didn't kill someone today or go to jail for a hit and run. Please, please be careful out there while driving around construction zones...our guys are doing the best they can out there. Remember, these guys and gals are someone's dad or mom, brother or sister, son or daughter.

Epworth Road Resurfacing Scheduled to Begin July 20, 2026

Metzger Construction advises motorists that resurfacing work on Epworth Road in western Warrick County is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, July 20, 2026, weather permitting.

The project limits extend from State Road 62 to Oak Grove Road and are expected to remain under construction for approximately three weeks, weather permitting.

Motorists should expect temporary traffic delays, lane restrictions, and the presence of construction equipment and personnel throughout the project. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible and allow additional travel time if traveling through the work zone.

Metzger Construction appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as these roadway improvements are completed safely and efficiently.

We are paving Gardner Rd from Fuquay to Plank today and tomorrow (Monday and Tuesday the 15th and 16th). Expect delays as flagmen re-route traffic around the moving jobsite. If you can, please avoid this area.
