This is what happens to a Stainless Steel liner when it is uninsulated in an oversized flue. Liner system was corrected to a pre insulated liner. All is safe now. Have your chimneys cleaned and inspected. Fall time is near.

Today we installed a Osburn woodstove insert with an insulated 6” stainless steel liner system. They are ready for a sale warm winter season.
