Another project wrapped up last Friday — and let me tell you, this one required a lot of brain power from start to finish.
We landed this job in late October. The goal was to create enough height clearance for a travel trailer, which meant custom fabrication of steel posts to raise the structure properly and safely.
To clarify, this wasn’t three months of constant work. During that time, we had 811 out to locate water, power, gas, and sewer lines. We had steel sleeves fabricated, then carefully hand-dug all post holes to avoid any utilities. Once set, we poured concrete and allowed a full 28-day cure to ensure long-term strength and stability.
After about two weeks of final cleaning, framing, and detailed build-out, we completed this beautiful Arizona Wave design.
Also worth mentioning — this isn’t just one carport, but two separate structures with a precise 5-inch gap between them. We also custom built a gutter catch system that ties into the existing downspouts to properly manage water flow.
Proud of how this one turned out. Precision, patience, and planning make all the difference.
