As we near the end of August, our team is thinking about how we can get outdoors and soak up the last rays of summer, as well as those beautiful early fall days. One of the best ways to get outdoors and support local conservation efforts is by visiting local parks and recreation sites!

We are proud to support the stewardship of places and organizations that celebrate the beauty of the outdoors, protect the natural landscape, and encourage learning about our shared environment.

Our client, a well-known local artist, fell in love with this wallpaper from the moment she set eyes on it. 
 
The challenge? Designing a compact bathroom space that celebrates the selected wallpaper and the client’s love of color, while also feeling timeless and unique.
 
Through the design exploration process, our team played with many different paint color options to pair with this incredible wallpaper. Once our designers saw how this color highlighted the wallpaper, they knew it would be the perfect pairing. The matching towels are the perfect finishing touch in this stunning color-filled space.

Renderings are incredibly helpful tools that allow our team of designers and the clients we serve to visualize a design in context, to see how color and materials interact, and to understand how everything works together in a space.

For our current Nantucket Residence project, our team of designers have been using renderings to help illustrate how color and material across different rooms of the house play together.

Tasteful updates helped create a space that felt modern and tailored to this client’s lifestyle while simultaneously respecting the family history and elegance of this inherited pre-war high-rise.
 
An avid collector and patron of the arts, our client and the design team collaborated to build the interiors concept around the owner’s fearless incorporation of modern, vintage, traditional and collected pieces. Colors are bold takes on traditional motifs, tempered with softer touches. Patterned rugs and soft goods are complemented by touches of whimsy and collected art from around the world, making for a truly unique and personalized space.

An elevated entry

LDa was engaged to refresh and enliven the lobby, common areas, and fitness center of this South End condominium building. The overall goal was to create sophisticated, chic, and durable spaces using timeless materials such as bronze, silver travertine, leather and wood. The main lobby received custom and thoughtfully designed finishes and décor, as well as new paint and furniture.
