When designing this expansive built-in desk wall, Sage Conti Design had a long list of asks to fit seamlessly into one design. One of them was a designated printer cabinet with retractable doors and a pull-out platform, making the printers easy to use, access and service.

The bells and whistles in this particular built-in are seemingly endless, and this clever little detail is just one of them.

A beautiful kitchen runner really does make the space, doesn't it? When staging for this shoot at a kitchen & mudroom addition we recently completed in , our friends at Dover Rug & Home were kind enough to lend us a few gorgeous options. Which one is your favorite - 1, 2, or 3?

Who doesn’t love a secret door?
Highline Construction collaborated with Robin Gannon Interiors to create this fun little moment in the breakfast nook of a special home in .
Behind the hidden jib door? A pantry holding all the stuff no one wants to draw attention to, like the vacuum. Much better to keep the focus on this incredible archival Josef Frank wallpaper from Schumacher and the Dunes and Duchess - Stacy Kunstel sconce in Italian red.

Restoration and revitalization are a big part of what we do. This 1860 West Newton home, which we’ve had the privilege of working on over the years, was ready for some exterior repairs and a fresh coat of paint.
Some of the work was straightforward, while other details required a little more craftsmanship - like having a custom knife made to mill new crown molding that precisely matched the original profile on the dormers.
We also addressed several drainage issues around the property, relocating gutters, adding a new dry well and a French drain along the driveway, and rerouting downspouts to better manage water.
A good example of what it takes to thoughtfully maintain an old home: preserve what’s worth preserving, replicate what can’t be saved, and quietly improve the systems that will help it last for another generation.

Pinch us!!! The kitchen from a big addition Highline Construction built off a historic home in is featured on the cover page of the “Made to Measure” section of this month’s New England Home Magazine ! A big thank you to Jenna Talbott Paula Bodah and Kathy Bush-Dutton. Congrats to Colin Smith Architecture, Inc. Ellekin Millwork & Cabinetry Dan Cutrona © 📷 and all of our trade amazing partners who helped make this beautiful home what it is - most of all the wonderful Megan Elizabeth Aurora , who, if she wasn’t out there saving babies, could absolutely have a second career in design.

For the past several years, we've had the privilege of helping the sweetest family thoughtfully restore and maintain this beautiful 1902 antique home in .

In addition to several interior renovations, has been carefully restoring the home's original architectural details, repairing and preserving what we can and recreating elements when necessary to seamlessly match the original craftsmanship.

It's been a true labor of love for the family, who have been incredible stewards of this home, and for our team as well. Bringing these old homes back to life while honoring their history is exactly why we do what we do.
