As part of a16z’s inaugural Boston Tech Week, Cityside Construction hosted an event at the DOCA showroom in Brookline, bringing together builders, agents, and developers for an honest conversation about AI in real estate and construction.

With leaders from MIT and BLDUP at the table, it kept coming back to one thing: the tools are real, but the results still come down to the people using them. From zoning and permitting to what it takes to get a project built, AI is starting to touch every part of the work. None of it is automatic.

The best conversations happened after the panel. That is exactly what we built the room for. Thanks to William Raveis and DOCA for making it a good one. More to come.

This Roslindale property looks a lot different than it did a year ago.

Over the last year, our team worked closely with the client to transform what was once an underutilized home into a completely updated property featuring a brand-new kitchen, a fully finished lower level with added living space, custom built-ins, and major exterior upgrades throughout.
