Art Conservation progress: 15th Century Bavarian Fountain.

This putti (cherub) model in the foreground is a digital print of the original piece in the background.

The original putti, and other fountain components, endured years of exposure to extreme weather. Many details have been lost and the sandstone has become compromised.

Under the tutelage of a world renowned Conservator, we subtly return missing details back to the models. This process includes recreating hair, eyes, toes, hands, and any other missing parts as needed. Fortunately we have photos of the original components when they were still intact.

We then create molds of the corrected models and cast them with reinforced high strength concrete.

This allows us to store away the original art while having the ability to display the recreated piece for people to enjoy.

Hawaii Off-Grid! Another build in a remote location on Hawaii Island.

Next steps include constructing a gable roof and attaching a carport on this 16’ x 24’ structure.

We took this old bathroom, changed the floor plan, and created an updated space! Kirkland,Wa ( I do not sub out demo, framing, tile and finish work. We do subcontract licensed plumbers, electricians, and drywallers)

Above-Garage Addition completed for our awesome clients! This new space completed just in time for their children to move in and start their school year-Everett, WA (all project management and work performed in-house including demo, framing, siding, painting, flooring, millwork, and all finishes. Subcontractors include Exact Electric, Jp Drywall, Gary Prokash Plumbing and Fire Sprinkler). We utilized the Owners preferred window providers and roofers. Architecture by Eric Denny Architecture

(Photos can be seen at the top of the NKBA Homepage). The pocket door and barn door designs, utilizing the antique Chinese panels was collaborative between the Owners and myself, and ended up being one of the most unique aspects of this project. It was a Team effort by the Owners, Designer (VIS Designs), myself and outstanding Team of sub-contractors to achieve this high level of performance!
