Wold Engineering, P.C. proudly announces the retirement of Greg Hagen from our Bottineau office.

Greg joined Wold Engineering in 2013 as a Project Management Specialist, where he provided expertise in grant writing, right-of-way acquisition, and the preparation of local and state funding applications. His efforts helped secure significant funding for our clients — including nearly $10 million in FLEX funding, awarded to the counties and cities we serve, in 2026 alone.

Prior to joining Wold, Greg dedicated 31 years to the Souris Basin Planning Council, serving as Executive Director.

We are grateful for Greg’s leadership and commitment to our clients and communities. Please join us in congratulating him on his retirement and wishing him all the best in this next chapter.

Wold Engineering celebrated the holidays in style this year with our 1st Annual "Ugly Sweater" contest at our company Christmas party. We also welcomed our newest employees: Macey and Rose in our Minot office, and Ashton in our Bismarck office. (They don't typically dress like this🤣)

Wold Engineering, P.C. hopes everyone had a happy and safe Halloween! Our Bottineau office participated in the annual Trunk or Treat for the local youth last Friday and had a scary good time. 👻🎃

A chip seal project near Bottineau will begin work this afternoon. Roads that will be impacted are the Lake Loop Road at Lake Metigoshe and the Lake Road from Lake Metigoshe to Bottineau. Work will also take place starting next week near Lansford, on County Road 26A (83rd St. NW) from US Hwy 83 to 34th Ave. NW. Watch for those beautiful orange signs!

Work has begun on the City of Bottineau Street Improvement project. Our Bottineau office staff worked with the City to develop plans and now will be providing construction staking and monitoring on their behalf. Milling of existing pavement, removals and prep of subgrade took place this week in preparation for cement treating of the subgrade. Thanks goes out to our Project Engineer, Jesse Brandvold, for the great progress photos!

Happy Independence Day America - to celebrate our Country’s freedom, Wold Engineering offices in Bottineau, Minot, and Bismarck will be closed July 4th and 5th to allow staff time to enjoy the holiday with family and friends.
