Meet Jeremy Fagan, master painter, artist, and owner of Mandala Painting, LLC in Boulder, CO.
For Jeremy, painting is a way of blending artistry with caring for distinctive spaces. In 2012, he founded Mandala Painting with a vision for bringing together the things he values most in his work: art, quality, and a calm, personal approach to working in people’s homes and businesses.
The name Mandala comes from the idea of a sacred design of the world. Jeremy sees the spaces we inhabit in much the same way. A beautifully painted home, business, or retreat space becomes its own kind of three-dimensional composition, shaped by color, light, texture, architecture, and the people who live and work there.
Jeremy grew up in Boulder in an artistic Buddhist family, where creativity, meditation, and attention to the world around him were part of everyday life. He studied illustration, painting, drawing, and visual media at art school in Portland before finding his way into the painting trades more than 25 years ago.
Over the course of his career, Jeremy has worked with homeowners, designers, contractors, businesses, and retreat centers throughout the Boulder-Denver area. Early in his career, he also helped paint the Great Stupa of Dharmakaya at Drala Mountain Center, an experience that brought together his background in art, meditation, and the painting trade in a particularly meaningful way.
When he isn’t painting other people’s spaces, you can usually find Jeremy making his own art, meditating, listening to live music, or outside somewhere enjoying the natural beauty of Colorado.
