Before and after Emergency ice dam removal. The customer called me around 10 pm, explaining there was water dripping from inside the window. With Temps in the negative and the leak being on the Noth side of the house, I immediately knew it was an ice dam. Most roof issues won't leak in negative temps, but gutter related ice dams will. Whether it gets into the house or bleeds out of the siding, or both is another story. Leaks like this happen due to heat escaping and melting part of the gutter while the outside of the gutter stays frozen. The only way to stop this issue is to have a heat cable installed in the gutter. This will prevent the ice from accumulating in the future. In a situation like this, you can't count on anyone but me, Marc Mosello, the owner of 1st Response Roofing. Most of the people in the industry are not cut out for situations like this, but I'm built for it. Call me anytime no matter what time if you have an emergency.

Before and after flashing repair. The roof is currently 3 years old. The roofing company sent out 1 guy 3 times to take care of the issue. The sloppy stuff you see is the repair attempts. I do not have photos of the issue before the warranty "repairs" were made. I came out once to look at it and once to repair it. It doesn't leak or look like an eye sore anymore. This is how things are done at 1st Response Roofing.

Installing a flashing kit around a skylight on a re-roof. I make it look easy, right? That's because it is. Its odd that I get 40+ calls a year to repair skylights. I dont understand how someone could mess this up. I do the same thing for every skylight and I never have a problem. My local competitors need to step it up. I'm here to take care of all your skylight needs. (I didn't install the counter flashing until later that day and forgot to take final picture. Final picture coming soon!)
