Good morning, I hope everyone is staying warm and safe in this ice storm. We are hoping to be able to help customers out Wednesday when the roads are safe. Please make sure you know where your water shut off is in case of busted pipes when the thawing out happens. Also please note, and this is very important, that if you make an appointment with a service provider and don’t need them to call back and cancel. It helps the company help more customers and not make them wait even longer.

It looks like mother nature is going into the new year with a bang, the next couple of days will drop well below freezing, here are just a few things that may help you from being in an "ICY" situation..

Remove all water hoses from Faucets and cover your faucets,
Wrap any exposed piping you can see, insulation is your friend,
leave water dripping at night when it going to drop below freezing
Open cabinets that have water on exterior wall to allow heat in,

Locate your water shut in the event it does freeze and break, the quicker you get it shut off the least damage it may cause,,,
in the event you have to shut your water off, turn off the electric or gas supply to your water heater.

Stay warm and make sure pets are in, out of the weather.

Please remember we have a couple very cold days coming soon, a few simple things might save you a lot of money and headache right before Christmas.
Wrap all exposed pipes
Disconnect all of water hoses, cover faucets
Leave water dripping at night during freezing temperatures
Open cabinet doors to allow heat to pipes on exterior walls
Locate your water cutoff
Bring animals inside or make sure they have adequate shelter
Be safe and have a Merry Christmas

As the month is coming to an end, we were finally able to get together for a breakfast meeting and show off the pink that my guys have been wearing all month in support of breast cancer awareness month. Remember to keep up with regular screenings and keep everyone person that has been effected by this in your prayers.
