SOD CREW FOREMAN
We are accepting applications for a Sod Crew Foreman. Landscaping or sod laying experience is a plus! Applicants must have forklift operating experience and a valid Florida Driver’s License with no major violations. Job locations change every day and can be located anywhere between Vero Beach and Homestead. Foremen are responsible for keeping accurate paperwork for job sites that are turned into the manager daily, assisting truck drivers with loading and unloading of sod at job sites, ensuring your crew members are performing their jobs well and safely, getting your crew to and from job sites safely, and getting pallets of sod to crew members efficiently. We are looking for an individual who is honest, trustworthy, responsible, and not afraid of working. This is a fulltime, year-round job. We are not seasonal.

Typical work week is Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 5:00 pm (or whenever the job is done for the day). Occasionally sod crews will be asked to work on Saturdays if a job is not finished, but we try not to work on weekends. Foremen are responsible for picking up and dropping off their crew members each day (foremen get paid for doing this). Must be able to speak and write in English, and be able to speak in Spanish or Creole.

Agricultural Land Services donated the transportation of hay (which was donated by Hal Phillips of Morriston, FL) to the ranchers of Southwest Florida so they can feed their livestock after the devastation from Hurricane Ian. Thank you so much to our awesome drivers Stanley and Edson for spending their Saturday transporting the hay!!!

We are hiring multiple positions in the counties of Palm Beach, Martin, and Okeechobee! All positions are full-time and year-round!

1.) Crew Foreman - responsible for overseeing a crew of 2-4 people that will be laying sod. Take home truck included. Forklift experience required. Must have a valid drivers license and be drug-free.

2.) Laborer with Drivers License - crew member on our seed and mulch crew to help with crew operations including blowing hay, driving tractor, and driving a 1 ton truck.

3.) Sod Stacking Crew - stack pallets of sod in our sod fields around Okeechobee. Transportation to and from work provided.

4.) Stacking Crew Foreman - responsible for overseeing the sod stacking crew, driving crew members to and from sod fields. Take home vehicle included. Must have a valid drivers license and be drug-free.

5.) Maintenance Technician - perform filter changes, general maintenance, grease equipment and more on sod field equipment. Take home vehicle included and must be drug-free.

6.) Tractor Operator - drive tractor in sod field to mow grass or pull roll machine.
